Aware of the possibility as well as the restriction inherent in narratives of spiritual transcendence, Pierre mobilizes time-honored motifs to create fantastical scenes of winged creatures and fiery beings.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Drawing Center's limited editions are generously donated by artists and provide critical support for all that the organization does—from groundbreaking exhibitions and publications, to education and community initiatives.
