Olga Chernysheva: Vague Accent

Accompanying the exhibition Olga Chernysheva: Vague Accent, this publication features a series of drawings by Moscow-based artist Olga Chernysheva made during a month-long visit to New York in 2015. Whereas Chernysheva has largely depicted the urban landscape of her home country Russia, Vague Accent explores the subway stations, museums, and city streets of New York City overlaid with collaged texts by the artist. This publication also includes a curatorial essay and newly commissioned texts by Murat Nemet-Nejat.
