002Press - In Conversation *Limited Edition Color Covers*

002Press is an interdisciplinary collective and printing press based in NJ. Their work focuses heavily on zine-making, bookmaking, poetry, music, illustration, and graphic design. Their work features a synthesis of drawing and graphic design in a few key ways; character design and the usage of identity as living symbol, the coded identities of a person and how they manifest as visual and immaterial design structures, and a commitment to visual and poetic improvisational aesthetics.

In other words, 002Press aims to operate through a lens/style of hyper-vulnerability as a survival response to living as Black people in a world that socio-economically seeks for our demise. Their hope is to transmute this living trauma into song, ideally to facilitate connection and community through art.

In this recorded discussion 001 and 002 speak on the subject of their individual and connected relationships with digital and analog methods of creation.
